Sometimes a dream project comes along and you have to pinch yourself because it’s all sounding a bit too good to be true. Well, The National Lottery Food Champions Project was one of those projects and it was every bit as good as it initially sounded!
The aim of the project was to share the eating habits of elite athletes so you can see just what the pros eat to keep them at the top of their game. The shoot was ambitious, 40 recipes in just 2 days, but after some lengthy planning discussions (the team at the Lottery are incredibly organized and thorough), we agreed on a solid plan of action to work to.
I had the pleasure of working with a fab team: Lucy our amazing food and prop stylist, her assistant and Omar our talented chef – his food was incredible and we all stuffed ourselves silly for the two days. I also have to say a huge thank you to the team at the National Lottery who were total dream clients!
